Carol Nantongo has indicated that she would attend Lydia Jazmine’s debut concert only if she receives an invitation. Addressing reporters seeking to confirm rumors about a possible feud between them, Nantongo, without denying existing issues, stated that she cannot simply attend as a friend. She emphasized that concerts have protocols, and attendance requires an invitation.
“I may come and ruin your show,” she remarked. “When they call me, I’ll come.”
Lydia Jazmine’s inaugural concert is scheduled for Friday, March 1, at Hotel Africana in Kampala. Announcing the event on Instagram, she expressed excitement and gratitude for her supporters, inviting them to share in this milestone.
Recent speculation has suggested a rift between Jazmine and Nantongo, fueled by rumors that they discovered they were both involved with Eddy Kenzo romantically. Nantongo, while not confirming past relationships with Kenzo, mentioned that she wouldn’t mind dating him. She clarified that her connection with Kenzo is primarily inspired by music and art.
Nantongo stated, “The beef and exchange of words between me and Jazmine, I also only see on social media. Whoever started the story, I think he/she could give us the conclusive details because I also just saw the war online. Naturally, I am not one kind of fake person. When I am dating someone and I find out that they’re married, I quit the affair because I am not a marriage wrecker.”
It’s worth noting that Carol Nantongo and Lydia Jazmine no longer follow each other on Instagram.
