Karole Kasita, a prominent Ugandan musician, singer, and songwriter, gained widespread recognition through the release of chart-topping songs like “Binyuma” that enjoyed extensive airplay on radio and TV stations across the nation.
Born on April 25, 1989, in the central region of Uganda, Karole Kasita pursued her high school education at St. Joseph’s College in Naggalama. Following her high school years, she enrolled at Makerere University Business School in Nakawa, a suburb of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship.
Karole Kasita’s journey into the world of music began during her high school days, where she showcased her talent by writing and performing her own songs for classmates and friends. After completing her university education, she decided to transform her passion for music into a full-fledged career.
In her early foray into the music scene, Karole Kasita collaborated with fellow Ugandan musician Nutty Neithan on the track “Bounce It,” released in 2016. The song quickly gained popularity, setting the stage for subsequent hits like “Binyuma.” While most of her songs are self-penned, a few were written by Ugandan musician Ray Signature.
Karole Kasita also ventured into group dynamics, establishing the SNS band to enhance her stage performances.
Despite facing criticism for her on-stage attire, Karole Kasita remains authentic, emphasizing her commitment to being true to herself. Through her journey, she serves as an inspiration to young individuals, particularly aspiring female artists in the music industry, demonstrating that they can attain their goals and fulfill their dreams.
